The main objective of the bootcamp is to develop new experiments related to identified gap areas as per the AICTE curriculum.
It also help students to increase their knowledge and to up-skill, to expose to resources, to generate ideas, and to network.
Currently, labs have been developed by participating institutes in accordance with the various syllabi across different universities. However, there are some gap areas, many labs do not fully cover with the curriculum of a particular technical course prescribed by the university.
In order to fill the gap areas, each participating institute is aiming to engage the local nodal center's and carry out the syllabus mapping exercise based on identified gap areas in the respect domains.
These gaps are proposed to be filled by developing additional experiments. In this process is meant to involve Regional nodal center's (RNCs), Nodal center's (NCs) and participating institutes are being involved together to achieve the above task.
The Bootcamp 2.0 was organized from Virtual labs IIT Roorkee dated 15th Feb 2022 - 30th Mar 2022. The whole bootcamp was divided into 6 phases. The participating institute was COER (College of Engineering Roorkee) and Nodal coordinator Anuradha of Electrical discipline was also present from her institute.
From the Virtual labs IIT Roorkee team their were 4 members involved in the bootcamp and from the COER team their were 5 Participants involved and in the end Prof. R.S. Anand addresses the participants and send them with well wishes.
